Stevens Historical Research Associates (SHRA) is a full-service historical research consulting firm based in Boise, Idaho. We specialize in researching the history of the natural and built environments, whether in preparation for litigation, general public history or cultural resource management and historic preservation.
SHRA offers expertise on a wide range of historical, preservation and environmental matters. Our researchers have provided expert historical research in myriad archival facilities and led cultural resource surveys throughout the country. We have conducted research in multiple National Archives branches as well as state archives across the country. Additionally, we have examined records held in university repositories, corporate archives and county records, and completed scores of successful National Register nominations.
