Areas of Expertise
SHRA offers research and expert witness experience in myriad environmental issues. We offer expertise in water issues, CERCLA/RCRA historical research, mining, land use, and historic roads, and native American history disputes. As part of our background in these areas, SHRA historians have been asked to offer opinions on many land and water issues, including:
- whether certain irrigation facilities were intended to carry storm water;
- whether certain federal lands were intended to reserve water for their use; and
- whether a federal agency had been consistent in its communication to a corporate entity regarding cleanup requirements.
